Although I’ve had ambitions to get published since a young age, my English lecturers and dissertation supervisor were always inspiring and their feedback motivated me to keep on writing after university. For other aspiring authors, I’d recommend keeping a look out for the Leeds Trinity anthology publications - that’s great practise for writing and submitting your work, plus the staff and other writers are all super supportive!
