Meanwood Valley Urban Farm – A taste of the country in the city centre. Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is a charitable organisation and is open every day of the year to visitors. Here, you’ll be able to visit, pet and feed the animals, explore the woodlands, look around the gardens and grab lunch at the farm café. The working farm is also home a recycled bicycle project, so if you’re after some wheels of your own, they’re a great place to have a look for some!

Ilkley Lido 
– Slightly further afield, Ilkley Lido is an affordable place to spend the day. They have both an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis court, putting green, bowling field, picnic area and cafe. Perfect for the warm summer days you’ll spend in Leeds.

Harewood House
 – Harewood house is classed as one of the Treasure Houses of the UK. Another must see on the bucket list of things to do in Leeds. Harewood House hosts exhibitions, concerts and walking experiences. Some of their most exciting activities include Alpaca walking, Penguin watching and giant rabbit feeding.

Xscape – Over in Castleford you’ll find Xscape, the place to go if you’re an adrenaline junkie. Here, you’ll be able to take to the slopes at the indoor ski slope Snozone, be sure to take advantage of their student night for discounted rates! They also have escape rooms, mini-golf, laser tag, bowling, cinemas and a trampoline park. If all of that isn’t enough, right next door you’ll find Junction 32 Outlet Centre so you can grab a bargain on your way home.

LS-TEN – If skateboarding is your thing, LS-TEN is the place for you. An indoor skatepark that runs as a charity, supporting sports, community and education programmes.

West Leeds Activity Centre – If you’re a lover of the outdoors, the activity centre will be right up your street. Their activities include high and low level Climbing, Rafted Canoeing, Go-Karting, Nightline, Orienteering and Bushcraft, as well as many other activities.

Planet Ice Leeds – New to Leeds, Planet Ice is the city's local ice rink. You won’t need to worry about being a total newbie, the rink has public sessions and skate hire available! If you’re an experienced Ice Hockey players or figure skater, they will also be able to help you find patch sessions or public hockey practice you can get involved in.
