In this session, Darren Harper will talk about the art of presenting, tips and techniques to build on your pitches, and how to deliver a perfect PowerPoint presentation.

What’s happening?

Darren will offer advice about how to present online, camera placement, lighting and maintaining eye contact in this virtual world.

Darren Harper is an experienced broadcaster with over 20 years’ experience, both here and in Australia. He presented a commercial radio breakfast show in Leeds for 10 years and is now the co-host of the LS11 Podcast (British Podcast Award nominee 2019). He's been teaching sports journalism, radio and podcasts for the last seven years – and has been at Leeds Trinity University for three years. Prior to this, Darren worked in the world of sales to become the youngest regional manager for Cable & Wireless at the age of 24.
