Contents insurance for residents

We strongly encourage all residents to review and register their contents insurance to ensure that personal belongings are protected during their stay in university accommodation.

Through our partner, Cover4Insurance, all residents are automatically provided with contents insurance cover of up to £10,000. This policy covers personal belongings kept within your room against risks such as fire, flood, and theft, including items such as clothing, electrical goods, and gadgets.

This insurance is provided at no additional cost and is included as part of your hall fees.
