What made you decide to study at Leeds Trinity?

I choose Leeds Trinity as I had heard good things about the University.

I also liked the fact it was a smaller campus compared to other universities.

How was your Clearing experience? Was the process clear? Did you understand what you needed to do?

I came through clearing and found the whole process so easy.

I applied through UCAS, set up a profile and explained why I wanted to do this course in my personal statement.

I had all the GCSEs but didn't have the A-levels, so I  didn't think I stood a chance.

Someone then called me from the University and asked if I had UCAS points, I didn't have these but told them I really wanted to do this course as I want a better job in the long run and I had always had a real passion for criminology and why people do the things they do.

Leeds Trinity gave me a chance by letting me do an essay which I did on prisons and reoffending, and I passed!

How has your time at university been? Have you enjoyed your course?

I enjoy many aspects of my course, especially learning about violence in society and why people commit crimes.

What are your plans after you graduate?

After graduation, I would like to work within the probation or drug rehabilitation sector.
