Middle East conflict

As recent events in Israel, Gaza and the Middle East escalate, I know that this will be an especially stressful and worrying time for many in our community, particularly those with family or friends in the area.

Please remember that a range of support is available within the University for students and staff, and our mental health and wellbeing resources can provide support and a safe space for anyone who needs them, both in person and online.

Students can find relevant links, information and contact details via the Wellbeing Portal and myLTU, while staff can access the Employee Assistance Programme 24/7 for confidential support, information and wellbeing resources on a range of matters.

The Chapel and multi-faith prayer space are also open all day for prayer and for those who would like a quiet space to reflect.

Please speak to your personal tutor, the Student Support team, your line manager or Leadership member if you need further assistance, and do signpost services to those who may need them.
